Room 10 Newsletter Item

YEAR 6 WAIPARA CAMP
Last term the Year 6 students from Room’s 9, 10 and 11 went to Waipara Camp. It was the first time we had done this camp but it was a successful time. The children were involved in Canoeing, Orienteering, Hut Building and Krypton Factor, just to name a few events. Here is Positive, Minus and Interesting reflection from Nick in Room 10.
Positive
The Water-Slide was fun and the piano key challenge on Canoes was as well.
Minus
Camp was very short, it was only 3 days and 2 nights.
Interesting
The pool was actually a man made river/lake
In Orienteering Alex and I were only 1 minute off the Oaklands record, achieved by Sam.

Reading: Homework

The children have been issued with a username and password for a reading site called Biblionasium. They have been asked to log on and and have a look around the site this week for homework. Next week we will be using this to record reading.
