Ella's 100 Word Challenge

The smell. Its smoky stench greets my nose first. Then the crackling registers. I leap out of bed to find fire encloses 3 of the walls. The 4th is collapsing and I push through to find myself in the kitchen. I wade through a mess of wood to see some dark shapes. I hear low voices and I strain my ears to hear more. "Deis ono." "Yes.'' Some of the words sound like a foreign language. I have to get help! And fast!
